Orders can be placed through the website, by telephone or by e-mail: info@galeriestylo.nl
Usually only 1 copy of a poster or book is available. Availability is subject to prior sale. Liability for typographical errors in the text is not accepted. Prices are subject to change without notice. Goods are sold under the margin scheme, without calculation of VAT. All goods are sold without copyright or reproduction rights.
Payment is possible by Ideal, bank transfer, cash or Paypal.
After receipt of payment, goods will be shipped in sturdy packaging. Only the actual costs will be charged, no handling or order costs. Material costs are only charged when non-standard and expensive materials have to be used (such as having a custom transport box manufactured).
If a purchase is not satisfactory, the item may be returned up to 14 days after receipt. In that case, the full purchase price will be refunded. Returns are only accepted if goods are received in the same condition they were in when they left the gallery and when return shipping costs are paid by the buyer. After this period of 14 days, the purchase agreement can no longer be terminated unilaterally.

Posters were never intended to be kept, but were meant to be pasted outdoors on walls, columns and kiosks. As a result, many specimens show traces of use, which are made less visible during a restoration. To this end, they are pasted onto another material (doubled) and, if necessary, supplemented and retouched. In most cases, Japanese paper or linen is used for this. The description of a poster states whether it has been duplicated. Galerie Stylo only works with restorers who use the right materials and have the necessary professional knowledge. It is possible that a poster had already been restored by someone else when purchased.
To describe the condition of posters, a scale from A to C is used, with the following explanation:
A (excellent)
A- (very good), poster may show minimal traces of use and age. For example: a pin hole, short edge tear, corner fold
B+ (good), poster shows some wear and/or signs of aging: some foxing, a small puncture, central fold, some creasing
B (fair), poster shows considerable wear and signs of ageing: the colors slightly faded, a restored missing piece, a long tear
B- (mediocre): multiple folds, browning of the paper, a considerable restored area
C (poor): significant parts missing, heavy discoloration
I try to be as honest as possible when grading a poster, however discussions often arise as no one has the same view on the implication of certain defects.
This way of describing is also used by the IVPDA (International Vintage Poster Dealers Association) and its members.
The dimensions are in centimeters, rounded to half centimeters. Unless otherwise stated, the dimensions of the sheet are stated.
